Symposia of the MICHAEL FOUNDATION

During the annual conference of the German Society for Epileptology (DGfE) in Leipzig in 2022, the MICHAEL FOUNDATION is organizing a symposium to celebrate its 60th anniversary. Lectures will be held (in German language) by:

• Peter Wolf - "What has happened to the stigma of epilepsy in the last 60 years?"
• Christian Elger- "Epilepsy research - which concepts have (not) proven themselves?"
• Bettina Schmitz - "A review"
• Susanne Knake- "Are foundations still relevant?"

In celebration of the 50th birthday of the MICHAEL FOUNDATION a symposium of the foundations was created on the yearly conference of the German Society for Epileptology. The Symposium is organized by the epilepsy foundations MICHAEL FOUNDATION and Prof. Dr. Peter and Jytte Wolf Foundation for Epilepsy.

The symposium takes place at irregular intervals. The next one is planned for the DGfE-Tagung 2022 in Leipzig.
