Our ambassadors are people who have found their way with the disease. They talk about it.
They encourage those affected and impart knowledge about epilepsy. Because knowledge helps to break down prejudices and see the person behind the disease.

Die Komponistin Lisa Streich erhielt in diesem Jahr den renommierten Hindemith-Preis.
Direkt vor der Preisverleihung in Kiel schlüpft sie in ihre Rolle als Epilepsie-Botschafterin der STIFTUNG MICHAEL.
"Die Welt wie neugeboren sehen", sagt sie über ihre Anfälle. Epilepsie ist ein Motor ihres Schaffens. Lisa wünscht sich, dass Menschen die Krankheit auch als ein Geschenk annehmen können. Was für eine Aussage!
